The French, extreme relay race, Red Bull Éléments 2018, is well known for the demanding character of its individual trails and for the fact that if you want to participate in the race you need to deal with French, since most of the information is in this language. Have a look at the trail profiles and several facts you may not have known about the race:
SWIMMING
All the three swimming stretches of the three-kilometre swimming trail are interlaced with several hundred metres long runs.
TRAIL RUNNING
The 11,2 km long running part (1 965 m of D+) begins on a slope and finishes with a steep climb where the racers run between slippery rocks and ladders.
PARAGLIDE
The start at 2 441 m, at the top of the Tournette. The paragliders will have to make three takeoffs and three landings during the race, of which one will be on a barge on the Lake Annecy.
MTB
After 21 kilometres of extremely demanding routes, the cyclists will ride their MTBs to the finish on the beach of Talloires.
