JASMIN PAJEVIC AND HIS SEASON OF 2021
23. 11. 2021
I started the season on Mount Bjelasnica, where the Olympic Games were held in 1984. A mountain that is really beautiful. There, with another partner, I ran the height of Mount Everest at 30 o'clock, repeating the series. Which went up and down. It was January 16, 2021. It took us two nights and one day for that.
I also have a film that was specially made for us:
After the successful completion of Everesting, I took a little rest for my body. And then I started with trail races and the first was 16.09.2021 - Vucko trail on which I ran 35 km with 1850 meters of ascent and won first place.
After that I went on 04.07.2021 on Hranisava ultra trail 42 kilometers and 2300 meters of ascent tunsam won second place. After that race I went to Termag trail 08.07.2021 on the mountain Jahorina on the length of 38 kilometers and 1235 meters of ascent and I won 1st place.
After that race I go to the marathon which was just a training for me called Two Cities marathon 10.07.2021 which goes through the whole of Sarajevo and it is the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina and I ran 42 kilometers and finished it in 2 hours and 58 minutes and 31 seconds where I took 6th place. After this marathon I go to the race Jahorina Ultra trail 24.07.2021 on a length of 100 kilometers and 3330 meters of ascent where I win first place.
Then I ran to Skakavac ultra trail 06.09.2021 on 69 kilometers and 3800 meters of ascent and I won second place. After that I did a project of 11 peaks over 2000 meters that I ran and got recognition for it. And I did that on the mountain Prenj where I ran all the peaks in 10 hours and 30 minutes on very difficult terrain. And the recognition is called Prenjski Vuk where I joined the project with Brac for the end of the season.
Salomon Cappadocia Ultra Trail in Turkey on October 16, 2021 on a length of 119 kilometers and 3360 meters of ascent where I finished the race in the top 20 and from seniors in the top 10.
There are a lot of great challenges ahead in next year. One of them is the extreme race LH24 in the Czech Republic, where I will repeat the 11 km long round on Lysá hora in the Beskydy Mountains for 24 hours. I‘m so excited about it!
