KRYŠTOF MINÁRIK’S GOLD&SILVER WEEKEND AT THE CZECH CHAMPIONSHIP

The parallel slalom competition of the Czech Republic snowboarding championships was held in Klínovec on the weekend of the 16th and 17th February 2019. The complete junior elite was taking part so Kryštof Minárik, a junior snowboarder and member of our Kilpi Racing Team could not miss this opportunity either.
Kryštof was positive about the race: "I have to say that the championships were great this time. The weather was perfect, there was plenty of snow and the track stayed in perfect condition even though it was warm."
Kryštof was relaxed after his double victory in Dolní Morava in January. He confirmed this in both races and finished in excellent positions. "On the first day, there was the giant slalom, where I finished second behind Honza Krotil from Liberec. On the second day, I improved and won the champion title in the slalom. All in all, our FLYING DEER team was very successful. I am looking forward to the next races.
The Klínovec races were covered by Czech TV. There is going to be a report for the Lvíčata program which will be broadcast on the 3rd of March 2019 on the ČT:D (Déčko) channel and Kryštof was among the interviewed racers. He still managed to give interviews despite the busy two-day schedule.
